Marco Sgubudu is now attending University of Zululand. She is one of the first female’s to attend college in the village and is now studying Agribusiness. We are still working on finding schoalorships to cover full cost of tuition that is due end-of-year, equaling about $2,000.00 USD. Most urgent, is her need for room and board while away at the University. $70.oo USD a month will cover her cost of rent, groceries, and transport.
Please consider donating to Friends of Angel’s to support her education. I will continue to keep you updated on her schooling and future via blog posts.
This is her letter to you:
I am a girl of 18 years and in my studies. I am specializing in Science Subjects which I aim to pass with flying colors.
I come from a family of six siblings and we are under the guidance of our mother who unfortunately is a widow since the death of our father in 2005. My mother is unemployed and the only breadwinner in our family is my sister who works at a local hotel as a waitress. Her salary is too meager to pay for my tuition fees. I do not have any other source of income.
I am excelling in my studies but I may fail to realize my potential and fulfill my dream if I fail to get financial support. I therefore humbly request you to make me fulfill my dream by offering me financial support.
Should I be granted this financial support, I pledge to serve the South African community and my target are rural communities. Your support towards my studies will be greatly appreciated.
Marco Sgubudu
