Dear Angela,
You did it!
You stepped out into the unknown to give of yourself half-way around the world and truly made an impact on those you served.
By learning a new language and culture as the first Peace Corps volunteer in the village of Isandlwana, you helped improve the lives and future of the children and young women there, all without the comfort of running water, plumbing or electricity!
Your Zulu host family has embraced you as one of their own and will now hate to lose their “Angel”. However, we know you have left part of yourself behind – a legacy of love.
While you’ve been away these past two years, your family and friends have supported you with their love and prayers…now we are all anxious to welcome you back home soon!
